I originally bought Rock Band 1, so all my controllers (mic, guitar, and drums) are from that game. Next, I bought Guitar Hero World Tour, just the game. My Rock Band 1 controllers worked just fine. Most recently I bought Rock Band 2. After playing that game for a while we tried to play GHWT and the controllers aren't even being recognized by the game. The PS3 recognizes them, you can use them to get back to stop the game or shut down the system, scroll through stuff on the home screen, but GHWT does not recognize them even being plugged in. Then, we tried with Rock Band 1, and the same thing happened, no recognition at all. Rock Band 2 has no problems at all. Google has failed me for help.

they are compatible, they have worked in the past...since playing rock band 2 they have stopped working.

I'm sorry, maybe I wasn't clear enough. The instruments ARE compatible (even the charts say so), and they HAVE worked in the past. Now, since installing Rock Band 2, the instruments that currently worked in the past have stopped working with Rock Band 1 or GHWT. The instruments came with Rock Band 1, I shouldn't need a chart to tell me that they are supposed to work with Rock Band 1. I have played Guitar Hero World Tour with them multiple times.

We uninstalled Rock Band 2 and they still aren't even being recognized as controllers.
