Even best buy has 3 or 4 decent head units for $60-80 bucks. Walmart and I think Target I saw a few low grade ones for the $60 ballpark.

yo allan, i just upgraded my head unit, and have a decent Alpine which I replaced.
The only thing that doesnt work is the cd-player.. it plays real cds, but it has trouble playing burned cds. I also have the ipod cable for it. It will be 100x better than some cheap ass best buy player, and I can help you put it in if you want.
$60.. no less. Shoot me a text if u want it. Its on craigslist so it will go fast.

jeebus...go here: http://www.crutchfield.com/g_300/Car-Receivers.html?tp=5684

there are 6 CD players under $80 (shipped, no taxes, and you get whatever you need to install it in your car yourself)...3 of them even play MP3 and WMA files
