usually easy to pirate any game. I even have a pirated version of left 4 dead. the thing is, with pirated versions, you can't play online. The game won't be able to be registered to more than one user, So I would need a copy from someone that has no intentions of playing that particular disc/serial again.

Heres what you do, go to http://www.directgamekeys.com

You can buy keys for just about any game, and they are always updating with the new titles. You can purchase these keys for half the price of the game.

Go to steam, and activate the key, and then it will let you download the game, and enjoy it. (Instructions for this process in detail are on the ^^ website, but its really very simple)

I have used this site for Dawn of War II, and GTAIV, and have been very pleased with the service. They are also very fast, and often get your key to you within 10-20 minutes of payment.

Tl;DR L4D is no fun without online capability, buy the game
