I'm not having problems on my Crackberry, but my husband (who actually uses the phone for work) has had all kinds of problems. Verizon sent a new phone but it isn't much better than the Alltel one.

Good news is that he wants to switch to AT&T - hello iPhone. Has AT&T's service gone downhill since '04-'05? That's the last time we had it and it was fine.

Call me and argue and you arent getting anything. Also techs in stores will be no help at all as they are only regular reps with no extra training, call customer service if you have problems.

^I'm nice on the first call. fuck it after that. and I already called CS. They said go into the store. The CS/TS in the store spent 2.5 hours, had to consult 3 other reps, and call VZW TS for more help. I'm pretty sure that if these guys billed jobs, they would have already spent enough money to purchase me several new phones. Twice now I have been told the problem is fixed and I even thought it was... but no, it's not completely fixed.

I was an Alltel customer and had no problems with the merger. I still had my alltel plan and phone til a couple months ago.

still rocking my alltel plan...and since i'm a student, i get a 20% discount on my alltel-priced plan (the one good thing i can say about verizon)

$78-79/month (AFTER taxes and fees) gets me:

- 2 lines
- 1200 anytime nationwide minutes
- 1000 text/video/picture messages
- 10 "my circle" (or whatever it's called) numbers
- nights start at 7pm
- the usual free weekends and free calls to verizon and former alltel customers

at this point, i can't complain about the price...but i don't have a smartphone and since i'm on an alltel plan, they can't screw me over with that $10 data bullshit they're putting on smart-dumbphones
