Has anybody had experience setting up a Windows Vista Ultimate 64 to record television programs and automatically pump them into iTunes?
I have AppleTVs connected throughout the house and would like to setup something so that I can record television shows and easily have the videos copied into iTunes. 9/15/2009 9:21:37 AM |

Looking at using software like this: http://www.killertechtips.com/2008/06/02/how-to-automatically-update-itunes-library-to-add-new-songs/
But I'm afraid that it will update the library before the file is done being written. 9/15/2009 9:25:53 AM |

the library is just an xml file that points to where the file is. generally doesn't matter if the file works until you actually play it in itunes] 9/15/2009 9:27:11 AM |

What I'd like to do however is setup the Media Center features of Ultimate to record the shows, place them in a directory in H.264 format for the AppleTV, then have iTunes automatically check that folder for files and import them. 9/15/2009 9:42:01 AM |
