Has anybody had experience setting up a Windows Vista Ultimate 64 to record television programs and automatically pump them into iTunes?

I have AppleTVs connected throughout the house and would like to setup something so that I can record television shows and easily have the videos copied into iTunes.

Looking at using software like this:

But I'm afraid that it will update the library before the file is done being written.

the library is just an xml file that points to where the file is. generally doesn't matter if the file works until you actually play it in itunes

What I'd like to do however is setup the Media Center features of Ultimate to record the shows, place them in a directory in H.264 format for the AppleTV, then have iTunes automatically check that folder for files and import them.
