Well not yet.. But he's been diagnosed with cancer and doctors have advised him not to seek treatment. So.. It probably wont be long.

Interesting Ernie Harwell facts.
Was a broadcaster for the Atlanta crackers and was trade to the dodgers for a catcher. When he left the dodgers to call tiger games, Vin Scully took over. Was the TV play by play for Bobby Thompson's "giants win the pennant" game. No recording is known to exist of his call. 5/5/2010 9:14:07 AM |
