Just wondering if anyone has had him for his early or late Shakespeare classes. I have no idea what to expect from the tests and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. 9/16/2009 8:47:47 PM |

i took him for shakespeare a few years ago (2005 maybe?) and he has stuck out as one of the best teachers i ever took. real laid back but the guy really knows his stuff. not a sleeper or easy A but if you pay attention and come to class on the regular i can't imagine anyone doing bad if theyre interested in the material. his class was one of the few that i enjoyed throughout my college years and i have heard many others speak pretty highly of his class. he is also into bob dylan, the rolling stones and making fun of his failed relationships and how his exwives run off with his gardeners and poolboys (or at least he did at the time) and how that relates to shakespeare. tests werent too horrible if you pay attention. alot of essay format though if thats something that you dont like. sorry about all the words. i just really liked the man and his class 9/21/2009 1:10:54 AM |

Prof Hunt was great, its been a few years since I had a course with him, but I would happily take another one with him again if given the chance (although being in grad school doesn't lend itself to that). I can't remember much about the tests, but I remember really liking his class, and I don't usually really like a class if the tests are unreasonable, so I wouldn't be too worried. 9/30/2009 12:57:26 AM |

he is a very good professor and keeps the class very entertaining. Tests arent the easiest thing but def doable...i should of gotten a B in the class but he gave me the A..i think he rates participation and attendance highly 9/30/2009 9:47:12 AM |

any class with Dr Marvin Hunt is worth taking
his tests are pretty typical from what I've experienced in other english courses at state 10/24/2009 10:34:39 AM |
