I'll be in Arlington, TX this weekend for the Ranger game and am trying to find a hotel to stay that is central to at least a few bars.

Anyone ever been there before? Is there any one area or street with a lot of bars? Collins St? Abram St?

Does this belong in Chit Chat?

Also, is there an area of bars where I can go before the game which would just have a bunch of Ranger fans in them?

there is a bar right beside Six Flags called 3rd Base...which is very close to the ballpark (same side of the highway). some fine looking womenfolk that work there. that may be your best bet. that is where im going at least before/after the panthers/cowboys game.

other than that, there are mostly restaurants i saw from the last time i was there....there certainly are other places to be discovered, im sure.

I'd probably make my way back to Ft Worth or Dallas. there are some great bars down around SMU, and generally, N/NE Dallas. I'd steer clear of downtown.

Hell, fuck bars. go look at the fucking houses in Highland Park, around Beverly Dr, Hillcrest. Jerry Jones' house is tucked behind some woods, and is pretty much a fucking plantation. Troy Aikman's house is smack in the middle of a mansion-clad neighborhood.
