I haven't had a Guaraná in a long time and have a serious craving for one. Aside from going into Chamas or Brasa and ordering one at the bar, anyone know where I could buy some?

If you say it like a gringo then that's a bingo.

Ass soda doesn't sound too appealing.

It's mildly fruity, but not real sweet. And it's got guarana in it, a natural stimulant, instead of caffeine. It's not like an energy drink though. It's a pretty unique flavor. I didn't like it the first couple of times I had it, but after like a week in Brazil I was hooked on the shit, it's really good.

I just randomly had a craving the other day and have been wanting one since.

I took a trip out to Garner to the Compare Foods yesterday but it appears that Compare has closed down. I'm gonna hit up a different one this weekend.

Quote :
"As a dietary supplement, guarana is an effective energy booster: it contains about twice the caffeine found in coffee beans (about 2–4.5% caffeine in guarana seeds compared to 1–2% for coffee beans)"

I wouldn't say it it energized me like a red bull, but more like it perked me up like a dehydrated plant.

Isn't there a Compare in Durham? Try there, but this time, call first before you go.

The Food Lion near my parents has it. I would think the one on Western would too considering how many of my neighbors were Hispanic when I lived on Kent Rd.
