nationally. and to address sayer, i guess that even the government admits that they only took out 95% of the supply chain

but look at the numbers if you dont believe me. i guess i'll change my claim to VIRTUALLY ZERO lsd available in the whole country since the pickard bust worked its way down the supply

also look up the lab reports on seized "lsd" since then. its designer, and its hallucinogenic, but its NOT LSD!!!

okay, fine. i can imagine a huge bust in 2000 put a hurt on the national supply, perhaps even to the extreme levels you say.

but what i can't imagine that someone or someones hasnt quickly jumped in to fill that market in the 9 years since then.

yeah, think about it. late 90s, X was all over the place. people were candyflipping all over the place. then the lsd disappeared, people kept taking x. x never went anywhere, it was all most kids these days know, there was no huge demand. then comes hippyflipping, mushrooms took over any demand left for lsd in the masses

except for maybe a small small small percentage that would stay underground and never go to the ER for treatment or brag about having lsd.

makes perfect sense to me

I mean, I openly admit the people I know personally who did/would want LSD have made mention on more than one occasion that it is almost impossible to find anymore.

I just don't understand how one bust crashed the entire country's supply. There has to be other producers out there.

There has never been any LSD tested that contained strychnine. The DEA "Microgram" publication and Alexander Shulgin are much more reliable sources on this than you.

there were definitely differences in teh quality of blotter available. I dropped acid probably close to a hundred times from mid 80s to early 90s, most of it while i was in high school. guess i accepted what everyone i knew had to say about it.

there are a lot of people who think the Pickard bust was a coverup for the remnants of the CIA's MKULTRA group. He was just a chemist, not the distributor. It seems strange that his bust would result in the complete disappearance of the drug from the market beyond small clandestine labs.

Fentanyl analogs are much more profitable and can be sold to a much larger market. Apparently William Pickard used to run fentanyl labs too, but he must have really enjoyed acid.

When they busted his lab, he was in there wearing only shorts and a t-shirt. Several of the DEA agents still managed to overdose on the LSD and ergotamine in the air through their full HASMAT suits.
