"Joe" is really good, despite having Nic Cage as a lead.

Filth.

A thousand times...Filth. Please watch this film.

warning: may require subtitles, as it is pretty quick dialogue in Scottish.

Also, Beyond the Black Rainbow. Still mind-fucked over that one. Especially watch it if you like Kubrick and/or weird/dark sci fi. Great film.

Filth was entertaining as hell. And yes, subtitles can help.

Recently watched the series "Turn." Thought it was pretty decent and am looking forward to season II. It's historical fiction meets espionage thriller/drama.

The Andy Griffith Show. All seasons available.

Only seen a few episodes but Scrotal Recall is pretty funny so far.

^2. I take back what I said about Scrotal Recall. First three episodes were decent. Watched two more after that and [NO]

In a World was just terrible. Not funny and the entire plot line with the sister was pointless to the main plot.

Inglorius Bastards is on Netflix now.

Also, for Amazon Prime, Nocturna. I watched it with my son the other night and it was pretty good. He's 4 and loved it.

^^hell yes. Not too big of a deal but I'm pretty sure they cut the audio on the interview parts in between songs. Regardless it is one of the best shows ever.

To follow that up "Levon helm: ain't in it for my health" was stellar. Far as I'm concerned he IS the band.

Just watched a series called "Our World War" this weekend. It is kind of like Band of Brothers but each episode is focused on different people, is set in World War I, and based around the British Army. Really well made. Sadly only three episodes but totally worth it.

Catching up on the X-Files ahead of the mini-series coming out in Jan. Finished season 1 in about a week, and two episodes into season 2.

I don't think it's on netflix anymore, but I just watched "The Man From Earth" on hulu plus... twice. I love this movie. I'm thinking that on the first day of school next year instead of the whole "going over the syllabus" lesson, I challenge the kids to prove I'm not a 14,000 year old cave man (and then showing the movie after their final exams)

Scrotal Recall

awful awful awful title but not a bad 6 episode watch. It has a Britishy How I Met Your Mother vibe, but the lead character isn't a whiny bitch. Pretty good soundtrack too.
