My moms has some old ass 800MHz HP Pavilion...would like to replace it with a P4 or better on the cheap. Hard drive and RAM aren't that important to me since I'm trying to keep the price down, but it comes with that stuff then thats cool too.

i saw a P4 1.7GHz on surpluscomputers.com for ~80 shipped (via bensbargains) but i figured i could do better locally. i'd check craigslist but i assume it's all a bunch of scammers trying to sell P3s with vista and office 2007 for $250.

ive got a dell desktop with windows xp on it. im not sure of the specs right now. it does have a wireless in it as well. No monitor or keyboard or mouse

cmon everybody knows I sell them for like $60 with these specs:

P4 (1.6-1.8ghz)
512MB RAM
20-40G IDE HD

Probably any of these brands: IBM, HP, Dell, Gateway, etc (most of them off-lease stuff)

All come with validated, activated, genuine copies of Windows XP. 30-day warranty on hardware, and lifetime warranty on all original software installs.

i've got a p4 ~3 ghz with 1 gb ram, dual ide hdds (80-120) and an ati 128mb video card you can have for $80. Its a gateway.
