I am. Last shaved a couple days before halloween. I'm almost past the annoying itchy stage where the hairs are just long enough to curl back and stab me in the face.

trimmed. the GF hates it when i have a beard, but we were watching the CMAs last night and ALL the dudes she said were hot had them. So I convinced her to let me grow it out again this year, as long as I keep it trimmed like the country dudes that get her wet.

Got mine going. Probably took it about 2 and a half weeks to get nice and full. It's probably about a 5 or 6 length on my beard/mustache trimmer.

I do it for two reasons:

1) I hate shaving everyday. This allows me to just keep it clean on the neck and cheeks (my facial hair will get up high on the cheek bones if I don't shave it) by shaving every two or three days...and not get razor burn by shaving every day.

2) I feel like I'm the youngest person in my profession by 20 years (attorney). Every time I go to court or go to mediation against another attorney, I feel like the other guy is at least 50. My beard lets me pass for someone in their early 30s. I feel like I get a little more respect than when I'm clean shaven and look like I'm in my mid-20s.
