No idea, but in search of the information I found out there's a lot of technology they lend out these days. Wow.

Dry it out and let it be... a friend of mine had a cup of water in her car's cupholder and her bf accidentally dropped it in it. After a few days of drying out, it was fine. 11/12/2009 2:09:40 PM |

you can either microwave it on low for 2-3 minutes, or put it in the oven on a top rack and set it to broil (don't forget to leave the door cracked a bit, though!) 11/12/2009 2:44:46 PM |

I prefer the broiler method myself. 11/12/2009 3:45:39 PM |

Do NOT put it in a microwave or in an oven. There are methods to dry an electronic device, none of those involve heating it. Rain water should not leave behind too much residue, so your chances of just drying it, and having it work are pretty good, actually, especially if it's not a model that has a hard disk. You can search for different methods, leaving it in a container with rice seems to be popular. 11/12/2009 4:15:56 PM |

^ ++ to the rice method, DO NOT STICK IT IN A MICROWAVE!!!
If you wanna see what will happen, stick a fork and a potato (no holes in it). Its more fun and a lot less expensive. 11/12/2009 4:20:35 PM |

Go ahead and apply the rice method. Though I've always just put devices on the dash of a car in the sun, there's not much chance of that for the next few days around here. 11/12/2009 6:06:58 PM |

You might could put it in the fridge, since they tend to draw out humidity. But please tell me that you didn't continue using it until it died.] 11/12/2009 6:25:19 PM |
