Hey guys,

I have decided to sell the stable and get a sportsbike. I have recently moved to the city and I have nowhere to fly. I am selling this trex 600 nitro. The only thing wrong with it is the muffler screw stripped the threads so I threw a longer bolt onto it and put a nylon bolt on the other side of the muffler. Nothing else is wrong. Also, the battery is puffed. I haven't flown it in nearly 2 months and I don't even have a controller for it. I need it gone fellas.

Trex 600n:
-OS 50-about 4 gallons through it. It produces great power.
-AR700 receiver
-9252's on cyclic (One new one due to stripped gear)
-9254 on tail
-GY401 (will also come with jr 770 that apparently has a problem)
-I recently had a bad twitch i couldn't get rid of, sure enough my 770
-Can possibly be replaced for free, havent checked yet
-Cosmetically flawed Radix Blades
-RC Booya canopy mounts
-Vibe 50 Canopy
-KBDD paddles
-KBDD tail blades
-Metal tail unit
-2150 mah battery that is a little puffed
-Charger

Spares: (Included)
-Mavrik G4 blades
-White carbon Align paddles
-Carbon Align tail blades that are chipped
-Main shafts (2)
-Feathering shaft (2)
-2 canopies (1 Fusuno used, 1 plastic that originally came on the heli when I bought it)
-2 tail booms (1 red and 1 silver)
-1 flybar
-Landing gear
-Swash plate
-Etc. Etc. If needing a complete list, I can get it
-Gallon of Cool Power 30%

I am located in Durham, NC and will drive up to two hours to meet someone. I will not sell for less that 600 though and as of now, I don't want to part out. Get me some offers.

PS: I don't have all of my spare parts at my current location. Most are at my parents house. I can get them the same day if an offer comes in and I have a few people on the site that will vouch for me if you need confidence.

If needing pics I can get them tomorrow.

I would be so totally shocked if there's one other person on TWW who flies RC copters.

And what gets me is why is it in vogue to call fuel-power nitro? You can have NO nitromethane in most fuel, and your engine will still run pretty damn good. It's goddamn methanol.

I didnt fly copters, but I did have quite a few nitro RC vehicles, and raced both 1/8th scale nitro offroad, 1/10th nitro onroad, 1/10th electric onroad, and 1/10th electric offroad classes for about 8 years. Even had a few sponsors in electric class.

I dont see the problem with calling this nitro though, as pretty much all hobby fuel sold at hobby shops contain a significant amount of nitro....and you CAN tell a difference between the different percentages of nitro you're running. Yes, the engine will still RUN without nitro, but you're not going to be making power worth shit when you're racing the big boys.

Definitely not claiming to be an expert, just saying there's a significant difference on the track.

Oh there is definitely a difference in power and tuneability. But you can still run them off of 0%, sometimes very satisfactorily.

I doubt you use much over 25% nitromethane. Most of the shit on the shelves is 15% everywhere I go.

I prefer 10% for my airplanes.

Yes I have never run anything under 20%. I wouldn't run under 15%.

Prepare to be partially shocked! I've been learning from a friend of mine, but haven't moved up to nitro yet. Basically he let's me tag along to videotape him.

Don't know what city, but there are plenty of places that he flies in and around Raleigh. Mostly the bigger parks when no one is up or around. If you go on youtube and do a search for user "joeriver92" you might recognize some of the places. Might even see me!

much easier to run one lean and hot with higher nitro content. Do you run heli fuel with good oil?

Sell me that gallon of fuel for a good price.
