i actually make up my bed everyday, yes
but not in the morning/when i wake up
i make it up before i get in it to go to sleep
because i don't like sleeping in a messy bed - i have to fall asleep with my covers just right
but then when i wake up in the morning it is all torn up again 11/17/2009 2:34:00 PM |

my GF makes our bed every morning. the only times I make it are when she leaves before I do, which is rare. And I only do it then because I know how much she appreciates it 11/17/2009 2:37:29 PM |

Threads like these are the reason this place is dying
Do you really sit at your computer wondering whether other people make their bed ?
How fascinating !!!
Do they put on their pants first, or their socks ???
Do they eat breakfast and then shower, or vice versa ?
How many times do they hit snooze ?
No one should care about these things 11/17/2009 3:21:29 PM |

now that i'm not working, yes. i make it up everyday.
it truly is amazing how much stuff gets done around the house now that i'm not working. i'm having a hard time figuring out how we got it all done--then jus10 reminded me; we didn't 11/17/2009 3:33:00 PM |

if i do at all i just throw the sheets flat and mostly square and the blankets on top the same way, i hate tucked in corners, if the corners are tucked in my ankles and knees hurt until i inevitably throw all the sheets and blankets on the floor while sleeping 11/17/2009 3:37:43 PM |

but i still do every couple of weeks anyway 11/17/2009 3:43:28 PM |

Everyday? Hell no. Can't be bothered, and what's the point really? If company shows up we shut the bedroom door, it's kind of messy anyway.
Once in a great while I will feel the need to make it up, usually if I've just put new sheets on it. But that's about it. 11/17/2009 4:25:39 PM |

I make my bed when I have fresh, clean sheets. Otherwise I usually don't because the sheets will probably be off the bed by the time I'm ready to go to sleep anyway. 11/17/2009 4:29:28 PM |

I used to make it up every day. I'd do it so I was less tempted to get back into bed after my shower
Then I read somewhere that making your bed right after you get up traps heat and moisture and makes a breeding ground for bacteria, so I stopped. I'll make it if I have company coming over. 11/17/2009 8:08:19 PM |
