i actually make up my bed everyday, yes

but not in the morning/when i wake up

i make it up before i get in it to go to sleep

because i don't like sleeping in a messy bed - i have to fall asleep with my covers just right

but then when i wake up in the morning it is all torn up again

my GF makes our bed every morning. the only times I make it are when she leaves before I do, which is rare. And I only do it then because I know how much she appreciates it

if i do at all i just throw the sheets flat and mostly square and the blankets on top the same way, i hate tucked in corners, if the corners are tucked in my ankles and knees hurt until i inevitably throw all the sheets and blankets on the floor while sleeping

Everyday? Hell no. Can't be bothered, and what's the point really? If company shows up we shut the bedroom door, it's kind of messy anyway.

Once in a great while I will feel the need to make it up, usually if I've just put new sheets on it. But that's about it.

I make my bed when I have fresh, clean sheets. Otherwise I usually don't because the sheets will probably be off the bed by the time I'm ready to go to sleep anyway.

I used to make it up every day. I'd do it so I was less tempted to get back into bed after my shower

Then I read somewhere that making your bed right after you get up traps heat and moisture and makes a breeding ground for bacteria, so I stopped. I'll make it if I have company coming over.
