I figured someone might have experience with this. I have a '99 Wrangler that I am trying to wire up for trailer lights. I got one of the "plug in" kits, and I found the little plastic panels in the wheel wells where I can get access. On the passenger side, the plugs are right there, and are easy to get to and plug in. Under the drivers side, there's nothing. Where are the drivers side plugs, up in the body somewhere? How do I get to it? The instructions don't say. Thanks for your help.

If I remember correctly I found it under the body near the bumper. It's been a few years though.

Now if Matt would just get good wire crimpers instead of that cheap nigger shit that he has. He loves him some bargain bin tools.

I took a close look the other day, I have nearly worn out good Cornwell crimpers. Only took 5 years this time

Jeepman is probably still beating off thinking about using my klein stripper/crimper

they also make some damn fine screwdrivers on par with the snap-on hardened tip ones, and rediculous lineman pliers that will cut steel wire like butter

I think I found something on JU that wasn't totally clear, but from what I understand... '97s need to be plugged into plugs on both ends, '98s and on only need to be plugged in to the one harness under the passengers side, and then to be grounded to the frame. This sound about right?

I just got finished installing the Draw-Tite T-One kit (Part# 118409) on my '99. There are plugs on both the driver and passenger side, they can be stuck way up in there but they are there, covered in protective foam tape. They must have been referring to a different kit.
