If you have sold something and they sent the money but its still pending in paypal and paypal says safe to ship do you? I dont want to get screwed and it didnt used to be this way.

and that is pretty much the standard, so it shouldn't be a problem for the buyer

and if it is an eBay auction and they leave negative feedback due to shipping, you can always appeal it and get it removed. no one is ever expected to ship out an item until the payment is in hand

some items won't clear until you prove that you have already shipped the item. small electronics like phones you cna't get the $$ until you provide the tracking number or the buyer leaves feedback

it's not the buyer that does it, it's paypal. i've had to call to get the $ released after delivery was confirmed on the last couple cell phones i've sold.

^exactly. you will not get your money until your item is delivered now if you're even remotely new to paypal. hell one time they wouldnt release the money to me until a day after i had received positive feedback.

there is no way around it if you're accepting paypal
