My father plans to get this computer. Do you guys have any experiences or thoughts about it? He plans to get 7 ultimate (since you can't get professional for some reason).

I would like to buy him something for it as an upgrade (if needed) for a christmas present. See anything that you would upgrade?
He is getting all new wireless keyboard/mouse/printer and a 24'' monitor, so those are out as possible gifts.
I'm not a fan of Dell, but he had one previously and had good experiences so he is rolling with it.
:edit:
Looking over the link I posted I realize he must have personalized it, because he was getting a terabyte of HD and that is not an option on these listed.... guess this post is now just an opinion of Dell and the computer assuming he has maxed out most of the options....

How much would you like to spend. Dell is notorious for overcharging for videocard upgrades. If it's not too late, I would have him preconfigure the pc with the worst videocard and you should be able to get him a replacement pretty easily. 11/25/2009 12:00:10 PM |
