Looking for a breadboard? I've got one I'd like to get rid of. I've got plenty of wires and jumpers to go with it.

Saw some for sale between the 30-40 dollar range, and I think they are going for 40 at the bookstore. I'd like to see 25 for this one.

If anybody wants I can take a pic and upload it.

I'm not an ECE major, but I have a lot of free time on my hands in the spring and want to learn some embedded systems stuff. What kind of extra stuff do you have with it? Does it run on batteries or do you have the stuff to plug it into the wall and regulate the 5 volts you need for it?

If I'm way off base here, it's because I know NOTHING about the subject. I'm interested in taking it off your hands though, if it'll suit my purposes

Its pretty much just the breadboard and jump wires. I've got a few logic chips, led's and resistors that I got from the class, but I'm sure they've moved on to different chips, maybe not though. You probably wouldnt be able to use them for anything specific though. Its just the basic breadboard that comes from the bookstore. It requires that you wire batteries to it, I didnt get fancy enough to get an ac adapter for it.

I'm not into electronics all that much, and I have not used it since I took the class, so to be honest I can't really answer your question. Maybe someone else that gets into electronics can though - I just dont want to sell you something you cant use.

Talk to someone in one of the robotics clubs. Also theres triangle area robotics. they do what you are (its a community club but meets at eb2).

As far as power, both. Batteries and AC->DC.

When you say embedded do you mean like microcontroller programming and then adding stuff to it? Or just making lights blink with a couple of transistors? Embedded is a mix of programming (normally C) and hardware. I think you just want to mess with hardware. that said, if you wanna get into robotics, you want embedded (go learn C).

I'm a super senior in the CSC department, very familiar with C and then some

I want to do embedded stuff like with microcontroller programming, but the website I found with the cool intros and projects and stuff starts with simple breadboard making lights blink with transistors and stuff, which is where I'll be starting.

I think I can use the breadboard, I expect to buy the more complicated stuff as I do more complicated projects.

Do you have a voltmeter to go with it?
