today is the first day that I could not connect to several private trackers. ssl connection to tracker does not appear to matter. I can connect to the tracker(s) actually, but no peers are returned. I hop on distrowatch and bittorrent functions normally. im no power downloader/uploader and the only thing I've had seeded for weeks is the metal gear solid fan movie on a public tracker (which still works fine)
any other odd behaviors for other tww'ers? I'm in raleigh 12/7/2009 9:14:06 AM |

1. Connect to tracker via proxy 2. Get peerlist 3. Copy peerlist 4. Get rid of proxy 5. Manually add peers
I had a similar problem. I eventually just switched trackers. 12/7/2009 6:00:54 PM |

it's not a bug, it's intentional behavior. I see peers connect and then disconnect about a second later. this could be due to the mpaa (or riaa?) ownership of utorrent or traffic shaping on behalf of twc. if I had more time this morning, I'd start up wireshark and see.
