i suppose it's just my deep love of Westerns but i'm still not bored with this game. I'm loving every aspect of it still. and can still play for an hour or more without even touch a regular mission. That being said, i can't get into the MP. So unless they release some single player DLC i doubt i'll play it much after this summer.

MP was fun for like 3 days, till we figured out the extent of the gameplay was raids on forts or getting taken out by Ernie doing his best Jonah Hex impression.

As far as the single player, I'm probably 1/3 way thru and just stopped, not really due to lack of interest, just due to time constraints and always having a superior option to playing video games available.

Because thats why we all play video games, right? As something to do when nothing else is really going on.

yea little to no replay appeal. the advanced coop missions they released are kinda challenging. still working on getting gold on them. it just is dumb that you barely get any XP for completing them. leveling up takes forever.

i do hope they release some single player DLC a la GTA4. i'm not tired of the game like i was by the end of GTA4, so i'd definitely get any DLC they came out with.

this game is too easy. standard gunfights are easy enough, then i always cringe in missions when someone says, "get to the gatling gun, marston!" or "man the cannon!"

there's always sets of beavers there.

also, finding the bear spawn point seems like an ok thing, until they start jacking you up while you're skinning the last dead one.

I can't tame a wild horse for the life of me I did the mission where you get the lasso just fine but I've been running around trying to lasso horses for the hell of it and I keep getting bucked off. Is it really that hard or am I just being a noob?

i found that the key to staying balanced was always be making a correction.. sometimes i'd think he'd look balanced so i wouldn't hit the stick while he was in that state, and he'd get bucked. though if you're constantly taping left, then right, then left, etc (correcting for which way he's leaning towards) i would always be able to stay on.

or it could've been in mah head.

also only achievements i need in this game are related to the DLC advanced co-op missions. anyone care to posse up? i've got one other guy who i play with, but it seems like those missions are much easier with four people

^^^ i don't know how i'm doing it so badly, usually i'm pretty decent at gimmicks like this in games, but i keep getting bucked off the front or the back in like 5 seconds. is there any balancing front to back involved or is it just side to side?

^you sure you're trying to balance with the correct stick? For a while there I kept getting bucked off and it was because I had gotten confused and was trying to use the right stick to balance, it's the left (or maybe the other way around but you get my drift)

Finally beat the game. Overall a blast though it felt a little easy at times especially after I got a bolt-action rifle. Is the multiplayer any good? Debating whether there's much value in holding on to my copy or if I should just trade it in.

multiplayer free roam is awesome if you have a friend or two at least playin with you. i've gotten on with a friend and hijacked a stage coach and hunted other posses or just stick with the traditional hideout challenges. its also fun goin to blackwater, gettin on the rooftops, and tryin to become public enemy. people in the game see you're public enemy and before you know it you have a huge battle goin on with other posses and cops.

finally got 100%. it was a little anticlimactic having to do a handful or random bounties after the credits rolled, but hey it's all over. I'd like to see some single player expansion campaigns sometime in the future. not sure if i'd want a sequel focusing on Jack or not though.

bump for the Undead Nightmare expansion...by all accounts, this looks to be well worth $10. An extra 5-6 hours of brand new gameplay that bring back most of the characters from the original story, revamped weather effects to give the entire map a different feel, zombie animals (as well as the 4 horses of the apocalypse, and sasquatches)...

Got the zombie DLC last night and so far it's been pretty damn awesome. They did a great job overhauling the environment to add to the 'oh shit' factor the zombies. I didn't make it very far in last night, but so far the voice work has been on par with the full game, and the story has a great B-movie feel to it.

The zombies have been a bit of a challenge so far too. Ammo (at least early on) has been extremely tight, and most of the zombies move at a pretty good clip, even if you set them on fire (I've only run into one of the huge special zombies so far). Haven't gotten any of the horses of the apocalypse, or ventured out to take on zombie wildlife, but I'd say the $10 has been well worth it so far.
