im not sure what the best strategy is for using the bandana though... i guess doing your dirty work with it on, but if it's benevolent dirty work, your guy doesn't get the fame and honor points


also, you can get pardon letters that take away your bounty, or at least part of it. I got one after i did a mission with Seth i think, when you go to the place to lure the deputy guards away from the building into the hills

im still having connection issues for multiplayer

then after it says "failed to connect" or "kicked for connection issues" it stays on a red loading screen for free roam and never goes away, you gotta shut down the game and go into dashboard to start over

Played some at lunch. Finally got the marking for dead-eye. Not sure how it works though, how do you actually set an X? Because as soon as my crosshair is on a target it marks it and keeps on marking it...i only want one mark per target not two.

^^ Connection was perfect for me last night. It was late 12 or 1, but I didn't notice any lag at all.

^ The marking is automatic, but I assume you could just end the dead eye after the first mark appears.

I suppose its based on idle time then...like if I move the crosshair onto a target wait...tags it...move it slightly on same target wait...tags it again. At least thats what seems to be going on lol

i figured out my multiplayer issues ... when i updated my router firmware, it reset the NAT type to secured so setting it back to open fixed everything

So how do I catch a horse and keep my own? My #1 horse didn't survive a fall down a cliff ( RIP), so I caught a new guy. After catching him and hitching him in town (thus making him mine), I figured it would be easy money to go out and snag another. But when I dismounted horse #2 to catch #3, #2 was now gone. Also, where do I sell these things anyway and can I buy a saddle?

Here's my first real and true gripe

it is entirely too easy to kill someone you don't mean to
a stranger ran up to me at hanging rock and said hey come help me save my friend from getting hung so im on horseback behind him and he immediately gets blasted by these guys and my first instinct is to turn to my left and start shooting, guess who i shoot...the guy standing up near the noose about to get hung anyway

give me a green crosshair vs a red crosshair when i'm trying to be honorable the entire time, i mean just accidentally drawing my weapon on somebody has screwed me already

hahaha...i don't know what it is about this game but I feel the same way. I would go out of my way to kill, run over, or steal from random people in GTA but this I do the complete opposite lol.

Wow this game is buggy as hell, I cant believe they released it like this. Could of used an extra couple months to iron things out, especially the multiplayer.

it says that it refills my deadeye meter twice as fast

^^i wasnt a huge fan of Red Dead Revolver but this seems a lot more in depth and its just a better game overall

i'm still gonna get back into that MW2 when the new maps come out though

Also it needs a fast weapon switch. I've died too many times now trying to switch from one weapon to the lasso or another weapon. Can't use a sawed off shotgun to shoot someone in the leg

So I called my horse and then saw a skunk scurrying. I drew my rifle and went into dead eye, putting like six shot markers on the skunk, because I felt mean. I start firing, my horse enters the screen and gets between me and the skunk. Dead horse, in glorious slow motion. The skunk ends up 20ft away.

FYI: If you tie your horse up outside the saloon in Armadillo, you can go to the 2nd story, jump off the balcony railing, and land, fully mounted, on your horse.

Best game feature EVER.
