Bought 2 rats at Carolina Pet Supply today, and the snake doesn't want to eat the first one.
The second is up for sale $5 picked up, where CPS charges $7.50.

I'm not going to bother feeding the second rat to the snake if I can get rid of it.

Yes, I'm being an irresponsible snake owner, and threw the rat in with the snake when she wouldn't just eat it.

It's winter.
I need to get another heat lamp for her tank, as the one that is there isn't quite adequate for winter temps.

her tank is around 75 and she likes 80-90.

One time, back when I had my Jungle Carpet Python (10ft, 36lbs) it didn't eat for 3 months.
I'm not really worried yet.

I just want to get rid of these damn rats, and then I'll try again next month.

No idea on weight, they are ~5 or 6'' long and 3'' wide or so.
