^Yes, and that is the difference. K stayed out there to lead his team through the rest of the game and make sure they got off the court safely. Roy left his players out there by themselves with no leadership to fend for themselves while he hid in the relative comfort of safety.


But I understand. I can see why Roy wouldn't want to be out there. All the jostling would surely dislodge his tampon and we'd all see what a heavy flow he's been having for the last 5 years.

I don't think I EVER saw anyone go over safety procedures of rushing a court when I was at State. The one time I remember getting instructions on where to go, was at the end of the Wake game (which we lost because of the nut shot), and students obviously did not end up rushing. I remember being upset that people were lining up to rush when the win was not guaranteed, but no one was going around and saying "be careful not to get trampled."

Before each season, not before each game. I'm guessing there is some email or quick speech before the red and white game or something like that. I'd assume that it's some sort of formality that a very small number of people, or perhaps no one pays attention to but they can say they tried.

He usually meets with the board of the SWPC or at least the executive board and I would guess the SG athletics commission on the rushing the court procedures. Basically it's just follow their instructions, don't jump over the hockey boards, and we can't rush from corner the opposing team comes out from until they are escorted back to the locker room.

Hell I'd imagine there is more danger for our guys in the middle of the mob than for their safety. I mean unless getting laughed at for losing as someone runs by counts as being hurt.
