I have returned.

I was pleasantly impressed.. love the hole-in-the-wall atmosphere, the staff was nice as shit, and the food was awesome. Will return soon.

FTR, I got a fajita chicken taco, a carne asada taco, rice/beans/chips, a negra modelo and a cup of their homemade horchata. all was wonderful.

I went for lunch and got a torta and two tacos, which is pretty big meal.

When they guy dropped it off I asked for another diet coke and he said something along the lines of "You are about to embark on an epic Chubby journey. I will supply you with a full tank." It was funny as shit.

I really liked the corn tortilla on the burrito I had yesterday. And normally veggie burritos with broccoli, carrots, etc. are kind of weird, but it was way yummy. And their tofu was good too.

yeah, I like flour tortilla's and they use corn like ^^ described.... their taco salad was delicious and I did like their "salsa bar" (not a true salsa bar in how I think of it, but it was nice to have a different selection other than mild, medium, hot, and green)

I'm a little confused now. The burritos are supposed to be on flour ones right? Maybe I am wrong and it was just a different kind of flour one, but it def tasted more like a corn tortilla. Whatever it was, I was sitting there thinking "damn this is a really good tortilla."

I haven't had the burrito yet- if they do in fact use corn tortillas instead of flour, I probably wouldn't like those either (my comments all refer to the taco's that I've had)

by the looks of their menu, you can get a taco in a flour tortilla upon request for no extra charge. I'll probably go that route, I'm not a huge fan of corn tortilla's

I will say that I have yet to find a place that tops Cueva de Lobos' traditional tacos, cheap tex-mex through Fine Mexican considered, but I get a feeling you can do no wrong at Chubby's. I wanted to eat there again today but I gotta put a lid on the fatassery
