Hello all you fellow veterans on here,

If you're interested in some outdoor all expense paid trip, you might want to check this website called http://www.outwardbound.org/index.cfm/do/cp.veterans

I actually have not tried any of these just yet, but I have a friend who is doing it and he's on his way to the trip. I'll let you know if there's any scam or sales pitch or anything like that, but so far his experience has been a really positive one. It seems like a website that really does want to show a good time to those who've served in OIF/OEF as a token of appreciation.

Anyway, just thought there would be a thread for veterans since it seems we're getting more and more commonplace today.

Heard nothing but good things about it. I was supposed to go on the dog-sledding trip at the end of this month but had to pull my name because of conflicts at work. Outward Bound has been unfailingly helpful and polite throughout the entire process.
