I'm sure thats for a 10 day contract

I think it's because he isn't on the team the whole season. The league minimum is pro-rated into the number of games you're on the team. 1/14/2010 10:52:57 AM |

says that he signed a one-year non-guaranteed deal. no idea what that means though
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4780082
according to this, his minimum salary would be like 20x that amount, so either it's a typo or you're right about the 10 day deal

I wish it was like 50-60 years back when the players made no more than the fans who attended the games 1/14/2010 10:57:54 AM |

i wonder what it would be like if congress set a limit on pro sporting event ticket prices which would force teams do lottory select people to buy tickets. the top fans would campout to pay a low price to get in and players would make a lot less but they'd be doing more of a service to the community instead of raping poor people who pay lebron half their paycheck to let their kids watch him play a game. 1/14/2010 11:11:20 AM |
