After I get flammed and torched and locked and ridiculed, could someone point me to the thread thats already been created for this "fight."

So anyway. I think Mayweather would dominate this fight.

I think Mayweather is the greatest active boxer in any weight class.

I don't like him personally, but he's the best.

Some good fights recently on HBO. Check out the Kovalev / Pascal fight from last weekend if you have HBO or HBO GO:

Glad that they are fighting finally, but I think Mayweather crushes Manny. It's boxing though so they probably will fix the matches so they can setup a 3 fight trifecta to make $Alaska. Give the first to Floyd in a close contest, 2nd to Manny in a controversial decision that gets some judge banned, and then Floyd destroys Manny in the only non-rigged fight in the 3rd matchup.

Define "crushes" and "destroys"

I'd bet $texas that it goes to a decision

Mayweather has 1 knockout in the last 8 years

I'm betting on a Pacquiao decision based solely on him wanting it more than Mayweather.

A boxer does not have to knock someone out in order to crush him.

^^^I can appreciate a precision pugilist like Mayweather dancing around and landing punches for 12 rounds without hardly ever getting hit. But boxing as a sport is best when the heavyweight division is strong which it hasn't been lately. People want to see knockouts. That obviously happens much less frequently in lower weight classes. If Mayweather won 8 rounds and Pacquiao won 4, which is probably about what will happen, it's not crushing someone. Though maybe you think it will be even more lopsided than that.

I doubt it. They are fighting in the Las Vegas at the MGM Grand. Mayweather lives in LV, so the home town hero will win like always. I saw a fight on FNF a year or two ago where a guy got dominated, but he was declared the winner in front of his family and friends since he was fighting in his home town.

I think a fight like this is more on a global scale, so home court advantage doesn't really apply here. Pacquiao will have just as many people (if not more) rooting for him at MGM.

^Well judging in boxing makes me sometimes say WTF? That is nothing new to the sport though. There have been plenty of controversial results through the years.

I can finally say GO PAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My heart says Pac man.

My head says Money.

I just hate that money didn't have the balls to fight him before Pac became an old politician. eh.

Randomly flipped over to ESPN for some coverage on this. I would love to travel through the TV screen and throw some punches at Stephen A Smith.

Fuck a $100 PPV buy. No way I'm paying that much for 12 rounds of Floyd running while out pointing Manny to win a decision.

I'll be getting this on Saturday. Having a group come over so $100 isn't so bad. Wonder if the Tecate deal is worth it.

Only way the judges give this fight to Pacquiao is if Mayweather beats like $100mil on himself to lose.

I'm not sure about D&B, but every Hooters in the USA is showing it, Tobacco Road on Glenwood South in Raleigh always shows live ppv fights, and some Buffalo Wild Wings are showing it. The closest BWW to Raleigh that has it is in Fayetteville.
