I knew I had taken the last step towards OMG, YOU CANNOT BE THAT PATHETIC when:

1. I moved my laptop to the L section of the couch, where it has found it's permanent home. This was a necessity, because I needed to be able to watch TV WHILE internetting...and could not be bothered with silly tasks such as getting up and walking to my home office.

2. I took a look at my coffee table, and realized I had the following items laying there
a. wireless house phone
b. cell phone
c. xbox 360 controller
d. playstation 3 controller
e. wii controller
f. TV controller
g. receiver controller
h. salt
i. pepper
j. candle
k. DVR controller

3. my farts no longer bother me enough to actually get up and leave the room

4. in the event that items a and b from list number 2 are not within arm's reach, I'm going to get voicemail. Cause I'm not moving.

5. I started leaving my front door unlocked, so I can just yell "come in!" when someone beckons.
