I'm moving into a 3bd 1.5ba splitlevel house in downtown cary sometime next week....I had a couple friends from NJ lined up to be my roommates, but they totally flaked out on me the other night, so now I'm trying to find a couple roommates to move in with me! The house is great, its 1700sqft, nice sized living room, dining room and kitchen....hardwood floors throughout. Nice sized fenced in backyard with two storage sheds, and a driveway on the side of the house. There are 3 bedrooms on the top floor. I'm only looking for 2 roommates, so the third bedroom can be shared between you and the other roommate. I'll be living in the basement, and turing the room down there into my bedroom.....I'm friendly and easy to get along with, but when I'm not working, I'm usually in my room watching TV or on the computer....so you'll probably forget that I'm even living there. haha. Im a 23yr old female, I have 2 medium sized dogs and a cat....all friendly, housebroken, and well behaved. So obviously, you must be a pet-lover to live here....sorry, no more pets. Or kids for that matter....or couples, unless you're willing to pay higher rent....but I'm still leaning towards a no on that one. Pretty common rules....no drugs, no drama, no indoor smoking, no crazy parties (theres a difference between having a bunch of friends over, and having random people passed out on the living room floor or throwing up on my sofa and the police getting called. haha)
Rent would be $325/mth + portion of the utilities. Only asking $100/mth towards utilities and I'll pay the difference (which will be a lot more than $100; so don't think I'm trying to be a grimeball hah. If it happens to be less, which would be awesome, I'll give you back the difference).....unless you have a habit of leaving every light on in the house, and crank the heat and ac to an extreme, then we might need to talk hah. But your utilities will include electric, gas, cable, internet, trash pickup, water, and yard maintenance. There's not a W&D but I'll be getting one within the first week of move-in, but theres a laundromat RIGHT across the street. A 1year commitment would be awesome, but even if you can only commit to 6months, or even 4months (at minimum), that works, too. I wont rent to the first person interested, I've had a lot of inquiries, but still need to meet people and make sure they're sane and not a total jerk like my last roommate. First months rent + one month security due to secure your room ($850). Yes, you will get your security deposit back when you move out, if you give me 30days notice and dont decide to punch holes in the wall or anything crazy. haha. Okay, uhmm, if youre interested...or think you might be, send me an e-mail with some info about yourself. We can move into the house before Feb 1st, incase your current lease is up at the end of the month, it'll give you a couple extra days to move your stuff. So yeah, again, looking for two roommates....so if you have a friend or know of someone whos not crazy, and has a job of some sort and can pay rent on time, then awesome.....you two will just have to settle it amongst yourselves on who gets which bedroom.
I dont care if youre a guy, girl, gay, straight, black, white, whatever....as long as you're in your 20's, and a drug-free, drama-free, pet-lover whos easy to get along with, then e-mail me!
