perhaps?
January 2010 issue, letters section:
Quote : | "Being the owner of an '07 model, I was quite pleased to see the Honda S2000 featured in the "Greatness for $20,000" article [October 2009]. But beware of the premature wear of the softtop. AP2 models are notorious for wearing holes in their tops after a few years. I had to replace mine before 19,000 miles. There is a TSB for this, so Honda is aware, but that doesn't mean they will cover the $3000 replacement cost if the warranty has ended.

I always skip right over those whining letters in Car and Driver. "OMG you didn't like my favorite car, you ranked a BMW as America's best full size pickup, whah whah whah" 1/25/2010 9:35:17 AM |

^seriously? You should read them, usually the editor is sarcastic as hell towards letters from idiots. There's usually a few laughs in there every issue. 1/25/2010 10:42:26 AM |

^lol, I agree but.... "spoken like a man who got in the mag". congrats.
I haven't written to a car mag in years. I wrote to sports car (international? illustrated? whoops.) when I was twelve, and my dad bought like 20 copies when it got published. the editor made some joke about whether I'd still read the mag by the time I got my driver's license. 2/3/2010 11:13:18 PM |
