This vehicle ran in to a parked car, the driver jumped out and ran, he came back a few minutes later and tried to get passenger out, passenger was coughing up blood.

The breathalyzer test. They did it three times, then cuffed him and took him away.

From what everyone else said he did really shitty on the roadside test. He ran out of view right after the wreck.......either he stashed something up there or was gonna run and thought better of it.

Witnesses said he did not hit the brakes or try to correct before hitting the mustang, he came from the opposite side of the road, across the oncoming lane, and smashed a mustang in to the curb so hard its busted in on both sides. He ran away first, and then came back to check on his passenger. The passenger once he got out stumbled and fell, and was bloodied.

Witnesses said he looked to be going about 60. His friend got take away on a stretcher, he got taken away in a police car.

Pretty shitty end to a night.

Last Friday night a saw dude stumble (literally, the guy had the balance of an 18 month old) to his car and get in and drive. I called the cops on him. Unfortunately, I couldn't really be of too much assistance, but it was better than doing nothing IMO.

I was leaving the bar after work last night and saw a Cherokee driving backwards down the westbound lane of Hillsborough in the Morgan split construction zone with a orange barrel jammed under the back of it.

The barrel finally got unjammed and I was hoping that would be enough to encourage the guy to park it but he took off in the correct direction down Morgan and as soon as he went around the corner next to Jade Garden I heard a huge crash. Called the cops as soon as I realized he wasn't going to stop but by the time I got down the block to see if the guy was okay he was already gone.

Hopefully someone nabbed him before he hurt anybody, including himself.

the passenger is a buddy of mine
he's OK now.. no memory of the accident tho. what he does have is hairline fractures in his wrist and pelvis.
