It's a movie from the late 80s. It's about this kid who was killed by this gang of punks that all have these souped up muscle cars. He comes back to life but appears to be this kid from out of town. He gets close to the girl he was once with and his friend from back before he died and runs into these punks again. This time he'll be the one killing to avenge his death. He usually rides a motorcycle but will conveniently show up in a muscle car of his own and will provoke the gangs members one by one into racing him. In these races he will eventually speed on out of site and stop his car, sort of sideways in the middle of the road, or he'll just flat out turn and run back to his opponent ultimately killing them with any sort of crash. As the camera rolls over the wreckage a small wire band from the good guy's arm will glow and then disappear. He repeats this until all the gang members are dead and then he leaves either the motorcycle or the car for his old friend (i forget which) and then he rides off and that's the end. Happily ever after et cetera...
Additional notes... The main bad guy drives a super-charged corvette. There's also a super charged camaro. One of the punk bad guy's has a stuttering problem and drinks wd-40. The good guy's car had lamborgini style doors that raised up instead of swinging open. *I believe the good guy drove a dodge something or other...
I've been really wanting to see this again and cannot for the life of me remember what the name of it was. I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me the name. 1/30/2010 5:12:37 AM |

Thanks for playing... I actually just found it... It's "The Wraith" with Charlie Sheen. And it's from 1993 and not the 80s... Good flick for back then. Check it out. 1/30/2010 5:25:21 AM |
