WOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some big changes at Showroom Shine Details. I am no longer detailing out of my shop anymore (parents sold the property). Sooooooo....

....I am now 100% fully mobile. I bought a trailer and bring my own water/electric with me. I can come to nearly any location (parking garages are a bit of a challenge) and service your car while you are at work (or home).

I'm thinking about creating another thread to show the mobile side of Showroom Shine Details. I will wait till I get the trailer lettered.

If you have any detailing needs, and want me to come to you, let me know. I'm booking for next week now!

Taking appts for this week and next. Since I have to now come to you, I cant do the $100 wash/wax special any longer.

I can do a $125 wash/wax special anywhere in the Raleigh area. Multiple car discounts available.

My gf is mad clumsy and has spilt coffee on her tan cloth seats a few times. Whats the likelihood of getting those stains out?? And would that fall under the wash/vac plus??

She has an 09 dodge avenger

^That would likely just be a custom package. Wash only on outside, vac/upholstery cleaning on the inside.

I can get most stains out, that being said several different factors can affect how well the stain comes out (seat material, how long the stain has been there etc).

sounds good. it's almost exclusively coffee or beverage of some sort. just shoot me a quote and we'll go from there.

I wouldnt be opposed to just the inside work, I can handle the outside if it's a large price difference

I might be interested if you're headed to the Triangle area in a few weeks. I'll be up there the last couple of weeks in June, and the last couple of weeks in July.

2010 Honda Insight, and it's not really needing anything inside or out, other than it'll be due for a polish and wax.

Might see if dad needs any of his cars done, too.

I'll be back in the Triangle in July and may be interested in having some long-overdue attention given to the Forte. Will get back to you once my location becomes clearer. Besides the $125 for wash/wax/vac/etc, how much would your charge for upholstery cleaning be? There are some stains but nothing terrible (less than 2 year old car, black upholstery). Thanks!

Brandon does great work. He got one of our old cars looking good enough to convince some poor saps to buy it. Got a big return in investment over dealer offer, and sold to the first person who saw it!

Calling soon about a full detail for our other old car and a shampoo for the new one. Picked up a stray dog that was running between cars on the highway and it got the back seat all muddy

Do you use a buffer or hand wax?

I use both. I have a direct drive buffer that I use for more severe defects (that I actually know how to use *correctly*). I mainly use a DA buffer for light polishing and wax application, the safest method of machine application. I also hand wax if the customer requests it, or if I dont have a reason to use the machcine.

So when you say full detail...does that include stuff like getting out floor board marks from dark shoes, very minor spots in the light colored cloth ceiling, shampooing rugs, and conditioning the leather?

Where does he say full detail? I'm assuming the $125 job isn't what's considered a "full detail, but I'll let him answer. Regardless of that assumption, if you use him, you will be happy with the results, as this thread is a testament to. I'd imagine some stuff he'll add on for no charge, while some other add-ons might require an additional charge

Ok guys, another big announcement at Showroom Shine Details...

I accepted a position at a stream mitigation and land development company full time. After August 5th I will no longer be doing detailing services full time

That being said, a friend of mine will be running the business one or two days a week. I will still own the company, and probably do the price quotes, but he will perform the services.

His name is Josh, and he is just as meticulous and detail oriented as I am. I trust him with clients cars just as much as I trust him with mine. He does not have much experience with full swirl removal, but he can do everything up to and including claying, polishing and sealing along with interior cleaning.

His contact information is:

919-497-2295 call or text

or

joshlayton@centurylink.net

He works shift work for his real job, so he will only be able to do this one or two days a week. You can also PM me here for prices before you contact him.

I want to thank from the bottom of my heart all of you guys that have used my services in the past. I've met some really nice people, gained a few people and a few regular clients. Each and every one of you have helped me along the way to grow the business from a side job thing in a garage, into a full mobile setup with some great reviews.

Thank you again, I hope that you guys continue to use Showroom Shine Details for your detailing needs

Good luck in your new endeavor, and I hope you can make some extra cheddar on the side from your new partner.

In the Cary area. Let me know.

How many layers of wax do you generally do?

I need my 2007 Honda Accord to get the "For Sale" cleaning. I have the gold color with several scratches, do you have the ability to do any touch up paint work or should I just do it after you wash it?

Are there really two Showroom Shine companies in the triangle? One doesn't come to Raleigh and the other is completely out of business?

Anyone have suggestions for a good detailing company?

I'm trying to switch it over to the guy that bought my business in Charlotte

Chris at Nth Degree Detailing is the best in the area. He taught me many things while I was detailing, he's the only guy that I'd recommend in the area. Most everyone else...hack jobs.

Bump. Moving back to NC next weekend. I'll be in Youngsville.

I'll be doing some detailing on the weekends at my shop only, I will not be mobile. I'm keeping it to larger details at the moment (no $25 wash/vacs).

Shoot me a PM if you'd like to set something up for any weekend in May or June
