i had picked these up with the idea that i could use the USB port on my car stereo to play music (and therefore store my collection on microSD cards instead of CDs), but my POS sony doesn't like them (it plays some other adapters, but not all)...anyway, looking for $5/each (possibly less...we'll see)...i have 4, and they're all new and still in the package (i kept one for myself)

they barely stick out of the USB port, which does make them kind of cool for additional storage that you can leave plugged into your computer...they are NOT the buffalo brand...i can't find a good pic of the brand i have (kansui or something), but they look almost exactly like this

*shrug*

^ the only one that is comparable is your second link...and it's not a tarp, it's an attempt to sell it to anyone specifically looking for niche device

fortunately, 2 are gone via craigslist, so i'm cool with that

Geez... that's freaking tiny. I think I'm in for one for a kiosk boot disk... unless that $5 is for 2 and includes shipping
