MARRIED PEOPLE

Seriously, you can't just go out for drinks without getting a permission slip signed?

You have to check in to see if its cool to stay for the 2nd half?

You can't go to the titty bar?

You have to check in every 45 minutes?

You can't take your ring off when you're out of town for the weekend?

You have to be home by 12 during the week?

You can't smoke weed with Slave Famous?

Its getting to the point where I'm hanging out exclusively with single people

Thats generally kind of part of being married. You have to consider someone else's thoughts/feelings in pretty much everything you do. There are of course exceptions.

you take out this sentence, and i'm with you

most of my married friends aren't like this at all....it's actually more of my friends that are just in relationships

it's important while dating to make it known to your girlfriend that when you gotta go... you gotta go
that she can't be asking your questions like 'where are you going"
and most importantly, that you'll be home when your key hits the door.

you can't waiver from this position at all
else
she's got you trapped

The ring thing is up for debate...its more have a good time than actually bang someone else, the thought being that you inherently have a better time when other people don't know you're married

Asking the wife is it OK is a consideration type of thing. Like "Sure you can use my bathroom." or "Yes, you can eat my leftovers." The chances of her saying No are pretty slim, but not asking is just asking for a fight.

its prob an issue more with a change of plans

husband told wife he was going to be home after work. the opportunity for drinks came up, so he calls as a courtesy to her. not so much 'permission'

more so that she can make other plans if she wants, or she can make her own dinner plans

i dont see the big idea. its called consideration not permission ^^^ yup, i was posting when you posted lol

and since all i work with are married men, i see how they act. they use the wife excuse because they really DONT want to do some of the shit their friends want to do so they use it as an easy out

I didn't mean that my husband has to ask to use my bathroom. I mean like when you're company and you ask to use someone's bathroom. It's the same type of question. The person isn't going to say "no," but asking is the polite thing to do.

I have to check in and see if I can con my wife out of cash to spend at the bar, and I have to call to make sure we're not going to end up at the same titty bar. I can't take the ring off cause it's stuck, and I have to be home by 12 because I'm old as fuck and started drinking at 2.

I can't smoke weed with Slave Famous because he's puffing on that bullshit and not that Buddha loving bomb shit.

probably not

some guys enjoy hanging out with just guys

just like girls have their girls night

but no one wants a friend whos sig other is ALWAYS around. its cool to bring them along so everyone gets to know each other but you also need to know when to leave her at home and have a guys night

We all worked together, but I quit the job.
They'd all make plans at work to go out afterwards.
I'd get a call/txt to meet them at the bar if I wanted.

MARRIED PEOPLE

Seriously, you can't just go out for drinks without getting a permission slip signed? I do what the hell I want. I just let the wife know out of courtesy, not to ask permission.

You have to check in to see if its cool to stay for the 2nd half? Yeah, but only to make sure she didn't have any awesome surprises waiting for me at home. I've missed out on some cool shit before.

You can't go to the titty bar? My wife would ask if she could come. So, no, I wouldn't ask if I didn't want her to ask me if she could tag along.

You have to check in every 45 minutes? Fuck that.

You can't take your ring off when you're out of town for the weekend? Only if I want to mess with other womens' minds Or when I go to a bar. Once I spent 3 hours out of 5 in a bar explaining why I got married (because I'm young) and if my wife knew about my whereabouts, who I was with, what I was doing, etc... Fuck that. no ring sometimes means less drama, with other people other than my wife.

You have to be home by 12 during the week? No...

You can't smoke weed with Slave Famous? I don't smoke. I like my job, for now.

Its getting to the point where I'm hanging out exclusively with single people. Well good for you, sir.
