er?

Quote :
"Over the years, we've seen plenty of public safety announcements that tackle the issue of buckling up behind the wheel. Most rely on fear to convey their message – be it fear of a police citation ("Click it or ticket") or the menace of graphic violence, dismemberment and death.

This slow-motion spot from the Sussex Safer Roads Partnership, however, takes a different tack without sacrificing its effectiveness or drama, all while adding an unexpected element of artistry and grace to go along with the obligatory heartstring-tugging. (And before you ask, yes, it most certainly reminds us of a certain incredible Radiohead music video)."

it is nice to see public health people are finally figuring out that they needed to update their messages and advertising. in the past they just had very simple ads because their message was very simple and hence didn't work because people dismiss stuff that is too watered down to meet the attention range of the lowest common denominator.

So is this really a PSA for seatbelts (well done) or is it something deeper?

No wedding bands on either 'parent'. Simplicity implied in bare hands or a deeper meaning of a troubled generation of premarital teenage babies in England?

[Edited on February 6, 2010 at 1:30 PM. Reason : The answer lies in the girl's fairy wings.]

I don't know why that video is such a big deal...two of my friends put it up on their FB ...and I don't know why everyone is making it all big.

What's the point?

I can't think of what Radiohead video it might be. The guy could be thinking of the video for "Rabbit in Your Headlights" by U.N.K.L.E. since Thom Yorke sings lead on that song.

He's probably thinking of The Scientist by Coldplay.
