Yeh, that's right. I've got quite a few AA batteries that are between 5-50% used (50-95% life remaining). I don't know where each battery is in its life cycle. All types of brands. Great for remote batteries... but not for many other things. I'd like to get rid of most of them...

still have them... I guess they would work in a wiimote. they typically last 3-12+ months in TV remotes. oh yeh, they work well in my bluetooth mouse as well, though they die in about 3-4 months.
