well theyre not really screamo in either use of the word (the 90s into early 2000s usage or the usage that started popping up in the early 2000s that seemed to kind of overcome the original term).

And yea, regardless of whether I am a big fan or not, we've played with them in past years and always got along well with them.

^^haha its no big deal. I don't generally argue over genres, but its still useful when describing bands. The reason I get annoyed with those specific terms is that, around 2002 or so, all of a sudden "emo" and "screamo" were being used to describe a totally new wave of bands that I generally completely despised when from like 98 until then I had been listening to a lot of bands who people categorized as "emo" and "screamo" that sounded hardly anything like the new stuff.
