Ok I know MLB The Show is the shit, I also know there is a thread in entertainment, but some of us don't have PS3s and have to settle for the 2K series game...although in fairness its improved with some new features like My Player mode and Online League...speaking of which

Who is down for an online league? If you have MLB 2K10 for the XBox 360 and are interested, post here and put your preferred team...we don't have to have all 30 teams filled or anything but lets see if we can get something going...depending on peoples interest in this, we'll see about starting the league in a couple of weeks

I'm also HOPING that divisions like the AL Central and NL East will have 5 user-controlled teams given the fanbase of TWW, because that would be pretty cool and make for a lot more user vs. user games

I'm also going to temporarily hold off on creating the league until we get an idea of how many players/teams might be down...there are many options for # of teams, # of games in season, etc that we can clarify as we narrow down how many people want to play

ok check it out, here are all the options we have to choose from when setting up the league...I'm listing them all in here just because

Number of teams: 4, 8, 10, 12...30 Basically even numbers 8 or greater...or 4

Postseason teams: 4, 8 Should depend on how many teams we have...like if we have 8 people in the league, 4 will make the postseason...if we have 20 people, 8 can make it

Season Length: 10, 20, 52, 104, 162 games I'd lean towards 20, but if we have a lot of teams maybe we do 52 games...I'm open to suggestion, I just fear people will lose interest if we try to have a much longer season

Flex Schedule: On, Off We'll have this on so we can play our games whenever 2 people work it out and not some crazy set order

Difficulty: Rookie, Pro, All Star, Legend, Custom I'm thinking either Pro or All Star

Innings: 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 9 innings

Designated Hitter: On Off, AL Hosted AL Hosted

Active Bullpen: On, Off Whether or not your relievers have to warm up...I say yes

Strikes Only: On, Off Obviously this will be off but I am listing ALL the available options

Postseason Format: 1 Game, Best of 3, Best of 5, Best of 7 Whatever yall think...I'd say 3 or 5

Fantasy Draft: On, Off Every team is empty and we all draft from the MLB pool...I vote for default/actual rosters

Trading: On, Off Sure why not, as long as theres no trickery and collusion

Trade Deadline: On, Off I vote for On

Well those are the options, some of them are pretty obvious, but we need to figure out season length and difficulty...we can finalize season length and postseason teams when we get a more accurate head count

Played Braves v. Mariners online earlier

The lag is just enough to make hitting impossible

Jurrjens allowed 2 hits, 1 a HR to Ichiro, and had 19 Ks

Felix gave up 4 hits, no runs, 15+ Ks

We were both kind of swing happy, though

Playing on live is frustrating but makes it much more of a mind game in that you have to really anticipate the pitch and its location to be successful.

I think you go to Play Ball or Play Now or whatever, and then on the screen where you would normally pick your team(s) for a regular offline exhibition game, theres some option between the teams where you pick an online match

Yep good call, I thought I tried that last night apparently not.... Just played some douche, hit a walk-off with McCann bot 12. He sent me a message after the game about how I "didn't play fair" and that HR was the only legit hit I had all game

Now I just have to figure out how to play with the Brew Crew... Are we going to be required to pitch different guys each game?
