I think it's villanova. That bracket is pretty weaksauce though. Duke was the bottom #1 seed yet has the easiest path to the final 4.

I would NOT be surprised to see Syracuse go down early, the winner of the Zaga/FSU game could do it. Kentucky has the hardest potential second round matchup IMO as Texas is a dangerous team. Kansas has the toughest #3, 4, and 5 seeds. All the 2 seeds are about as strong.

I just think Villanova is BUILT for a tournament run with their guards and they present a matchup nightmare for Duke, just like last year. Of all the #2's I think Duke wanted to see Villanova least.

Yeah but their only "bad" loss was to UConn... and that team isn't bad but just vastly underperformed. Other than that they lost to G'Town, 'Cuse, Pitt, WVU and Marquette.

Most teams who play those five teams in their last 10 games probably have 3-4 losses too.

And I have a serious mancrush as a coach on Jay Wright. He'd be my one hand picked guy to take over here if I had a choice.

I would feel better about a Duke upset if they weren't in such an exceptionally week bracket.

As it stands:
Kansas
K State (although with Onuaku at 100% Syracuse would be tough)
Duke
Kentucky (although I could just as easily see West Virginia as a grittier, more experienced team)

Syracuse's injury, losing to Louisville and one-and-done in the Big East tourney creates several more question marks than they had 2 weeks ago.

Nova lost 5 out of their last 7... I don't think they present as many matchup problems with Duke this year without Cunningham. Villanova was pretty overrated all year, and Duke would kill Nova on the boards

IMO if Duke gets by Louisville they have a pretty easy bracket, but that's a big if

i don't think Nova will make it past Baylor.. they're the weakest 2 seed

Onuaku has a quad injury, but it isn't clear how limited he will be. Boeheim said he is unlikely the first weekend.

The only team in the South I see jumping Duke is honestly Notre Dame. They'd beat Baylor and possibly Nova, and then with some luck Duke. There's no way Duke doesn't make the regional final and I'm 90% positive they'll win it. What a travesty. The committee laid an egg here.
