trip report:


it was just weird


we get there and it was like valet parking only $10



i ask the guy, how much to park?

my two friends go to entrance and they make us go to the side entrance like we're homeless or somehting, which is weird cause i pulled up in a BMW. oh well.


they're getting padded down by the time i get up there and the girl says, $30 each

so i'm like 'look dude, men's club charges $16 to get in (although i was pretty sure it was $12 couldnt quite remember) for non members and they are very reputable. Yall just opened i have no fucking clue what's in there. I'm not paying shit.

i look at the other guys for a moment, and we're like 'ok'

we go in, and it was literally what i said


zero white people. Not even white customers it was really awkward


i take that back the only 2 white guys there was the valet and the bartender.

there was an asian customer, he had a big smile on his face it was pretty funny. He looked like Don Ho.



We're there for about an hour, beers were $5 ($4 at men's club)

i said no to every chick that came up to us.


i was really impressed at how well all the black dudes were dressed up. All of them were wearing nice club shirts, pants, nice shoes. Some had suits and vests, one guy was wearing a big pimp hat and sunglasses. I wondered how he was able to see anything. Also there were a lot of women there in the audience. I'm used to seeing girls at strip joints, but they might have been the majority of guests there.


Then about an hour into us being there (i wnated to leave but after paying $60 + $10 valet to just get in, my jew conscience couldn't let me leave) the DJ gets on and says "Oh damn I know we got some white people in here I can see yall, it's about to get mother fucking retarded in here!"


I look around surprised and make the joke "how the hell did they spot us!"


suddenly we were getting pretty bombarded with strippers. I've never seen so many naked bitches and not even start to get aroused. lol


So i stand up, both my friends look at me. Nick was intent on staying the entire night, he was loving it. John almost had tears in his eyes he wanted to leave so bad. He was like uncomfortable x1000.


I bolt for the exit. Nick is yelling at me "dave get the fuck back here!!!!" John runs too.


We leave and go to some bar and laugh for like an hour.


nick is pissed cause he left his knife with the bouncer and forgot about it. I refused to drive him back there. Maybe dick move on my part, but fuck it. It was a POS knife and i paid for his cover/beers

I've been back a few times during normal nights, and there are def some cute girls there I highly recommend it. I'd say best strip club in raleigh right now, although I haven't been to the Men's Club in a little while.

I was at pure gold cary last week. They redid the stage, it looks terrible, and the girls were not attractive nor really into their jobs. I don't think I will ever go there again. It was just downright embarrasing. Seriously, the new stage looks like it was built out of plywood with no finish and it was easily visible to the audience. What kind of unprofessional crap is that? Also there is free breakfast after 2am (they are open till 4am now which is why i went in the first place) but unless you have are on a famine level of starvation and can stomach things like broken glass and cement I wouldn't recommend it. Let it be known strippers cannot cook.

Im not sure how the OP ended up paying $10 to park the car himself...Ive never paid to park the few times Ive been, and I would have left if they had tried. That may have been because they had just opened and they were trying to appear to be exclusive or something...now they are begging people to come. Last time I went, there were more strippers than patrons...and even then, they couldnt even bother to introduce themselves before asking if I wanted a dance. They were all pretty much going through the motions...forgetting everything they learned in Stripping 101 about how to sell it. Also, someone puked in the bathroom, so that was nice to look at.
FYI: If you go to any of the strip clubs, and they ask you if youre a member, just say "Yes"...most likely, they arent going to check (they need your business...thats why they are all open until 5 now). Friend of mine gets the member rate everytime doing this.

What is the appeal of strip clubs?

I've only been to one and I spent the whole time either depressed, repulsed, or indifferent. I'm as hot-blooded as the next guy but they just don't do anything for me and im sure as hell not about to pay parking, cover, and inflated bar prices to be harrassed by a bunch of (at best) marginally-attractive girls that have grated the cheese off 20 other guys that night
