I need herbs, not "herbs" and not the crap GNC sells. I'm looking for a traditional herb store, with things like thyme, ginseng, ginko baloba, lysine, black cohosh... etc. Not for cooking with, for using medicinally.

Fair enough, it's an amino acid. But we can't synthesize it, so normally herb stores have some in stock.

Are you looking for the herbs in natural form? What's wrong with the herbs that are sold at GNC, in capsule form? They have both, standardized ones, and whole herb ones.

I can send you to a site where you can buy 99.99% pure amino acids. You'll mostly find amino acids in health stores as a supplement or in various mixtures.

Most people either look for Tryptophan as a sleep aide or Arginine as a .. sexual aide.

GNC doesn't have traditional herbs in capsulated form. I went into GNC thinking they did, but they sell mostly pre-made cocktails of herbs and synthesized medicines that are used for general health or weight loss, or muscle gain, etc. They had a very small selection of traditional herbs, but definitely not extensive enough to be of use to me.

I just wanted raw herbs (or amino acids) that I could mix up however I want.

All the vitamins and herbs at Whole Foods are HIGH DOLLAR. Firm Foundations is on Capital Blvd in the Holly Tree shopping center. Their prices are cheaper than Whole Foods and they sell Nature's Sunshine products which Whole Foods doesn't.

I don't think he's looking for "products", but rather raw herbs. Does Firm Foundations have that?
I'm pretty sure the reason why GNC doesn't have them is because they only sell proprietary substances. (GNC sucks.)

^They sell encapsulated herbs but yes its the real stuff. Now if you wanna get raw herbs with no capsule check out the Timberlake Store in Louisburg. Google it....
