Does anybody here have any experience with trading tickets for concerts? I bought tickets to see Pearl Jam at Madison Square Garden (from Stubhub) for Friday May 21st. I didn't realize The Black Keys were only playing the Thursday night show. I'm hoping to trade somebody for a pair of Friday night tickets but aren't familiar with any websites where that kind of ish might go down.
I've currently got the tickets listed on Stubhub to sell but would rather trade, as long as it's a secure transaction where I know I'm not going to end up getting screwed. I'm not trying to turn a profit, just see two of my favorite bands at the same time.

Any help would be appreciated.

And trolls, eat my ass, I posted this here instead of Entertainment because I'm not talking about the band, I'm asking for internet advice. I didn't post in Classifieds because I'm not looking to sell them here, again, just internet advice. And if you don't like my selection of music, just zip it, unless you know how to help me swap these jokers.

there's a reason we use money in our economy.

it allows people who have no desire for your good to give you a good that you desire in exchange for money which they can then trade with another person for that which they desire.

its an interesting concept which has withstood the test of time. you should try to learn a little bit about it someday when you get a chance.

You could always just trade with a scalper at the thursday show. I imagine there would be more demand for friday tickets anyway.

you do realize by posting your reaction and the above follow up question, you put yourself in the same position which you question him - that is to say your reaction to such a comment on the internet raises the question of whether you know you are on the internet. because one who would understand a troll comment like solinari's would also expect such a hateful response like the one the OP made
