Most Wake county students had to make one in 5th grade. Was this a state wide curriculum? I found mine. I remember how mad my parents used to get b/c i would always be up extremely late on the night before a section was due trying to finish. It was a habit I was unable to shake....

We did NC stuff in 4th grade, and we didn't have to do a scrapbook per se, but we did have a project we had to do, pretty open ended as to the content, it just had to relate to NC. This was in Alexander county.

I don't remember having to make a scrapbook but I do remember having to make the Hatteras Lighthouse entirely out of toothpicks. That was a pain in the ass

I initially was going to say I don't remember having to make one, but then I remembered I didn't move to NC til 6th grade

i had to do a NC scrap book and couple other NC projects in 4th grade. i did a 3d topo map of the state made out of some salt/starch plaster like solution. i remember it was actually pretty cool.
