I've tried various brands; but their claims of acne free, oil free, and being non-comedogenic seem to fall short.

I'M TIRED OF LOOKING LIKE A 13 YEAR OLD AFTER WEARING SUNSCREEN.

If this were chit chat I would tell you to use semen. Because it would be funny if you really believed that would work and tried it.

But this is the lounge, so I'm going to recommend Bullfrog. I've never had problems with it, and it works.

If you were a women I would recommend getting a good moisturizer with SPF 30 protection. I mean, it would probably work just fine for you too... but most guys won't do that. If you don't want to go that route,

you may have already tried this, but I have crappy skin and this does the best for me. it also is nice because it doesn't make you feel all greasy after you apply it

I stayed out in the sun in the desert for like 14 days without using sun screen.

My skin started to peel but it wasn't even like 1/10th of the way into the first layer

I'm AstralAdvent and i approved this message.

+1 for Bullfrog, my brother used to use it all the time because it was the only thing that wouldn't make him break out. Personally, I don't use sunscreen, I just get burnt to a crisp on the first day of work, or summer, or whatever then I don't burn anymore after that. (OMG SKIN CANCER!!!)

Cleaning it twice a day doesn't help sometimes.

It's like how black people have strange hair, in white people's eyes. We have weird skin. I mean, we're fucking translucent.

Skin cancer ITT.

Anyway, oil isn't what causes your skin to break out. Oil free shit is just a marketing gimmick.

Bull-frog

It's alcohol based. Goes on quick, evaporates quick, protects your skin.

^^Those are the brands I would recommend.

It also helps to scrub up and wash real good before applying and heading out in the sun. Then, coming in and doing the scrub/wash/apply mid-day...and repeat at the close of the day. I mean, if you're acne prone, you can't just stay out sweating/caking lotion on yourself all day long.

^Also, even if you don't go in the sun all day, obviously washing up before and after the application of sunscreen is important.

Not to be gross, but any amounts of bacteria on your body/face...if covered in cheap sunscreen or even expensive sunscreen won't respond well to the irritation of the sun/sweat.

Another tip is to not use sunscreen at all if you're only going out for a little bit...just use face lotions/body lotions/lip balms with SPF in them...

one thing i've noticed that helps is using cetaphil moisturizing lotion. i put it on my face every day after a shower. if i do it right after a shower, it helps hold the moisture in and prevent so much drying out...

also, i have used a type of sunscreen for years now (when i'm going to be out in the sun for a long time, aka the beach, football games, etc...) and it works great and no problems. i'll look at it later and tell you the name, i can't remember what brand it is off the top of my head

I use Neutrogena on my face and ears.
Coppertone Sport for arms, legs, neck, back, etc.

I hate hate hate the Coppertone aerosol type spray. That stuff feels grimy after a couple of coats and you can rub it off in nasty little clumps. For spray stuff I use Banana Boat in the orange bottle. It's alcohol based and dries feeling clean.
