TWW 10 Year Anniversary Party

We have a few members that are DJ's or in bands for entertainment; if nothing else, kiljadn and poopface could have a trivia battle

maybe even offer some free advertising to any business that would like to contribute funds to make this event something kinda decent / nice

qntmfred gave me the go ahead to plan this out if there is interest.
open to serious ideas and suggestions

help list pros and cons of Ruckus or Bada

Pros: Bada has a nice patio for corn hole / Ruckus also an outside are but im not sure about any games but that shouldnt be a problem.

yeah, i was thinking about that also and thats why i think an afternoon on the weekend at a location that has food and drinks would be ideal. maybe the location picked would be willing to block off some of the parking lot or something?

It'd be cool if we collected funds from whoever wanted to participate and we could buy burgers/hot dogs etc and have a cookout

Maybe in a park somewhere that has shelters with barbecues. That way people can bring their kids/pets to run around.

This is actually a pretty cool idea. I'm game for something outdoors, but if there will be drinking involved (as there should be), I guess any parks or places like that are out. I'll keep an eye on the thread, and I'd be happy to attend, but I don't know what kind of connections I have to offer.

I'll go to either place... and I'm' sure if you talk to either joel or the owners at bada (mike or josh), that they could get some sort of special something worked out


personally, I like the patio at bada, just because it is slightly bigger, but both places would be good... and if you could maybe get some dj or music action going, you might be able to get in some folks from campus who know nothing of tww (kinda like a wolf web rush party)

^^^^I've seen bada have big wing days outside, and also grilling hotdogs (not on their regular menu)


being that they can do it outside, either place might be up for allowing like a pig picking or something, just provided that the booze is bought there

I like the idea of getting a discount as a big group at either Bada or Ruckus rather than trying to organize food and drink individually at an outside location. Unless said location happened to be Brent Road...

every weekend is gonna have a problem - this weekend is, well, this weekend

next weekend is the hike (most people won't want to go out after the hike)

weekend after that is mothers day weekend

weekend after that is graduation
