I always go Sammy`s for a beer. it is cheap..Now a days I am fed up with that..

Is there any nice & cheap bar around Raleigh or Cary with a very reasonable price and a good crowd..?

Flying Saucer obviously... well it's not super cheap but they have one, usually good beer that is $3 every night... but I'm partial since I'm there like 3 nights a week.

Sports bar type place like Sammy's that has specials every night? Tobacco Road on Glenwood, Woody's downtown and in Cary, etc, etc... don't know what you're looking for.

I assume you're looking for a bar that you can just chill, sit at a table, have some beer and hang out with some friends and not a club type place?

Believe it or not, cary tavern used to be pretty chill when my house was right next to it.

Not packed, good food, cheap drinks, chill crowd, tvs, and dart boards. Just bring friends, and youre all Good.

I've only been to Mitch's once, and it was before they stopped allowing people to smoke inside (their rule, not the new legislation)

yea i actually just went to edwards mill for the first time a few weeks ago. it wasn't a game night or anything so i couldn't really get a feel for the crowd but i really liked the menu. i got spinach lasagna and it was delicious. and i liked the outside area.

the food is definitely excellent, the atmosphere is clean and professional, the servers are friendly and helpful, and there's always a beer special

I feel respectable and mature getting drunk there
