I love bloody Tasman Salts. They are probably one of the most dangerous knives to play with. If you fuck up man, you are in trouble. They pull things deeper and deeper into the blade as you cut. This makes them brutal self defense knives, you do not want to get slashed with a hawkbill style blade like that. It's like a super sharp cat claw, it will easily put 2.5" deep gashes in a target, which means you can completely sever entire muscles in the arm and tendons too. Even if they don't get close enough for a kill, you can disable their arms/hands in one or two good slashes. The attacker cannot make a single mistake in their attack. And god forbid they grab that blade dude, god forbid, because they're done if they do. It is also an excellent stabber, even though it's curved like that.

The reason it has the salt name appended to it is because it's designed to go out to sea. It is made of H1 steel, which cannot rust (It's an alloy with almost zero carbon content, they use nitrogen instead of carbon to make the steel harder). H1 steel is mediocre at edge holding initially, but it work hardens a LOT and will gain a lot more edge holding capability over time as you use it and sharpen it. All of the hardware on the knife is also either made of Titanium or H1 steel.
